Dachshunds at Variare
Our love affair with dogs started with Holly - Morrisear Connie Cream
A shaded cream dachshund, who taught me how not to do things! She was the most loving dog, but we spent the first 8 months of her life, in and out the vets with various health issues.

In saying that Holly was shown in her older age, and won a couple of classes. However, she didnt really enjoy showing, much preferred lift on an agility course or with a stick in the park!

December 2009 saw Pebbles first litter to Willowheath ZZ Top
Pebbles is the inspiration behind the Variare name. After trying out a number of different Kennel Name, we finally decided on Variare - Latin for Dapple or the contrast of light on dark, or dark on light.
Pebbles was one of the first Dachshunds to take part in CaniX both in the short and half marathon distances.
She loved Agility, nosework, CaniX & sleeping.

We are so grateful for Helen for giving us such a special dog.
Truffle has been placed at Championship and Open Show Level.

Truffle is also a registered Pets as Therapy Dog, and loves visiting the retirement homes for the custard creams!!

Poppy has never been shown due to an eye condition. She will remain here to live out her days. She is such a sweet natured puppy and her and Truffle get in heaps of Trouble.

Walli came to use from David Walsh in Ireland. This handsome chap has fitted in no problems and we love every day with this clown.
